Share your views on phonics, fluency and independent reading
We're inviting primary school leaders, English leads, phonics leads and teachers to take part in a short survey exploring current challenges around phonics, reading fluency and supporting pupils as they transition to independent reading.
The survey takes approximately 4 to 5 minutes to complete
As a thank you, all respondents can choose to enter a prize draw to win one of five £100 Amazon vouchers.
Why are we conducting this survey?
At Daisy Education, we're exploring the introduction of a new phonics and early reading programme to UK schools and want to better understand the needs, priorities and experiences of primary educators.
We're particularly interested in hearing about:
- Current approaches to phonics teaching
- Reading fluency and reading stamina
- Supporting pupils who need additional reading practice
- The transition from learning to read to reading independently
- Areas where schools would value additional support
Your feedback will help shape future pilot opportunities and programme development.
About the new phonics and early reading programme
It is a research based digital reading programme designed to complement phonics teaching through structured reading practice.
As pupils play lessons and interact with characters in a playful learning environment, they develop key foundation reading skills including:
- Phonemic awareness
- Phonological awareness
- Phonics
- Decoding
- Reading fluency
Pupils can access the programme both in school and at home, while educators gain visibility into progress and areas requiring additional support.
Your feedback matters
We want to ensure any future reading support reflects the realities of today's classrooms and the needs of schools across the UK.
The survey is anonymous unless you choose to provide your contact details, and should take no more than 4 to 5 minutes to complete.
Thank you for helping us shape the future of reading support in primary schools.
