How does DreamBox Maths work?
DreamBox Maths offers over 2,300 lessons with millions of paths through the maths curriculum. It adjusts in real time to engage students in their optimal learning zone.
When a student starts a new concept, they begin with 'exploring and sense-making' lessons to demonstrate what they know. The programme doesn’t just capture students’ answers, it monitors their thought processes to addressing misconceptions.
Once students build the foundational understanding, they advance into 'looking for structures and relationships' lessons. Here, the programme focuses on the strategies they are using and provides support to make that process more efficient.
Once students develop a deep understanding and are equipped with efficient strategies, they advance to 'fluency, application and procedural skills' lessons.
Moving through these stages helps develop fluent learners while ensuring they have the foundational knowledge they can use to build upon concepts.
