We’re excited to offer a bank of high-quality, free resources designed to support teachers, reduce workload and help your Year 6 pupils master SATs-style questions with confidence!
At Daisy Education, we are dedicated to supporting schools to improve outcomes for all children – regardless of whether they use our reading programme, DreamBox Reading Plus.
That’s why we enlisted the help of Sarah Wakinshaw – an experienced educator with over 19 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development and SATs preparation – to create these resources and make lesson planning easier while helping pupils build essential reading skills.

What is Reading Plus?
Our online adaptive reading programme accelerates pupils’ progress for confident SATs performance.
- Each pupil is placed on a personalised reading journey to appropriately challenge and improve their reading speed, fluency and comprehension.
- Adaptive technology supports pupils to read more than 185 words per minute – the rate needed to comfortably complete the Reading SATs paper.
- After each text a pupil encounters in the programme, they answer ten comprehension questions aligned to the KS2 content domains.
- The KS2 Question Level Analysis Report measures pupils against the KS2 reading domains to ensure gaps in knowledge are identified and remedied long before SATs arrive.
